A bag away from almost almost anything
Portal Bags Uber Eats
Uber Eats had two problems: on the brand side, its "iconic" green bag wasn’t achieving the desired prominence or recognition. On the business level, people in Mexico weren’t fully leveraging the app for any occasion—they were only using it during specific moments on the weekend, not for grocery shopping on Monday or midweek gatherings.
This is curious because, with Uber Eats, you're just one bag away from getting almost almost anything. Anytime. Anyday. In any situation.
The green bag
Many times, when ordering food delivery, the bag is the first thing to be discarded. But in this case, this simple green bag becomes the hero of the stories and the most visually striking and surreal element. When you reach through it, it turns into a portal to a world of everything you’ve ever wanted. Inspired by the movements of the Addams Family’s hand and filled with the essence of the portals from Doctor Strange and Rick and Morty, once the hand enters Uber Eats’ green bag something extraordinary is about to happen. No need to complicate it with visual tricks, flashy camera moves, or other unnecessary elements.
Everything can happen in everyday life
Directed by Max Barron and produced by Partizan, this series of films showcases different situations that can arise in everyday life—whether it’s a Monday, midweek, or the weekend. From wild parties to a noisy friend to your own refusal to admit your age, Uber Eats is always there.
Uber Eats self-deprecating tone
While Uber Eats is great for solving all kinds of problems at any time, it’s fair to admit there are some things it just can’t fix. No, we can’t make you 15 again. No, we can’t stop your friend from commenting on the game. No, we can’t erase your conscience. But for everything else, leave it to us. With Uber Eats, you're just one bag away from getting almost almost anything.
